Co-op work at Apeiron Labs. A unit needed to be dropped as a test, so I designed a system to hold it and release it on command from a remote.

The mechanism clamps around the body with a collar and a band, and a servo pulls the latch to let go.

This one was on a tight deadline, so design, prototyping, revision, and finalizing all happened quickly. It ended up working.
